The PCS has a Speakers Bureau of medical doctors that is frequently tapped to give lectures on the following topics: General Information on Cancer, Cancer in Women, Cancer in Men, Anti-Smoking and Lung Cancer.

The PCS collaborates with various organizations, foundations, community groups, schools, workplaces and others to bring the Cancer Control Lectures to their respective audiences. The lectures focus primarily on the advocacy for prevention and early detection.

Once, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Tobacco Cessation bus featured counselling, video presentation and dissemination of flyers to pedestrians caught smoking by MMDA in public places. PCS collaborated with MMDA for the provision of materials for the project.

An example also was when the Department of Environment and Natural Resources employees received vital cancer information from the PCS Education and Information unit’s doctor-volunteer of the Society’s Speakers Bureau.
